East Vancouver Culture Crawl  - Don't miss it!  
This November 26th, 27th, and 28th, 2010 are the dates set for this years 14th annual East Vancouver Culture Crawl. BRRR it's going to be a chilly one since the weatherman has predicted rain and snow for a low of 2 degrees and a high of 5 degrees Celsius. But it is well worth it! This fantastic event involves the opportunity to view artists work in their own studios. There are painters, sculptures, woodworkers, glassblowers, jewellers, print makers, photographers, fashion designers and so much more. All in a relatively small footprint. … (2 comments)

It is true that there is only one earth and we need to take care of it. With all this talk about being green and eco friendly I took a look at my business and thought about what I could do to be green? Here are two of my ideas.

Instead of ordering a batch of inexpensive plastic key chains I ordered a batch of unique citythemed leather key chains from a local artistic creative company www.catalystreaction.ca. What the Rubik's Cube® taught me about life! When I was younger I was given a Rubik's Cube® as a birthday present.
I loved puzzles and quickly became obsessed with solving it. I spent countless hours twisting and turning its many colors and sides. I could get one side easily, sometimes two, and rarely but not often, I could get three sides complete. My frustration trumped my persistence and I tucked it away for the sake of my sanity.
