I know this sounds like a broken record --but where is SPRING!!!! I really think I have slipped into a deep winter blah depression... this is just not right. What happened to sunshine and spring blossoms on trees and little flowers!!! I just can't take it anymore, wasn't that a line from a movie?? I'm sure this to will pass but how long can we hold out?? To feel a little sunshine on our faces and shoulders. Please let us have some warmth, green grass, the white stuff has been here long enough. I hope this doesn't sound to depressing but I think it is. Oh maybe it is time for a trip South, do ya think?? Soon I think, Hope you all are having a better spring than we are. Bring on SUMMER. They say, this being the weather persons next week will bring some warm up and sunshine.WOO HOO !!!
Its Friday Yeah. It seemed like a good thing, but why do OUR Friday's not seem as great as a Monday thru Friday salaried job??? Oh yes,its because we still work!!!! Everyone always wants to look on Saturday and a lot on Sunday. I still haven't gotten to the point of, SORRY don't do Saturday or Sunday. Looking forward to that time, but not just yet. They call and I come running. I am just a puppet in their hands. Which is OK, after I get to the home and meet the people I enjoy doing it , but wished I had more back bone and new the word no. DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS PROBLEM? Just checking to make sure I am not the only one.
Hi everyone, It is Fall and the trees and bushes are so beautiful, we just have to take the time to look and enjoy the view. I know its hard to see the trees for the forest but just stop and take a big breath and enjoy!! It wont be like this for long, with all the wonderful fall colors. We all rush along from job to job looking for the next home to sell the next client to help--but take a breath. We have so much to be thankful for just do it.
The next thing we need to do is have fun at this profession we call a job. If we can't have fun and enjoy it what are we doing it for. It makes life such a much more pleasant experience.
Now I have had my pep take for the day its time to go to work!!
I don't know about where you are at but here in Salt Lake City we are HOT, HOT, HOT, and it is not only the Weather but the market also. Which makes it a good place to be an agent. I am hoping it keeps going. Soon the weather will cool, but the market will still be surging upward. If anyone has any investors looking for a good market you can look to this area for them. The builders of new sub-divisions are still building. The home sellers are still selling. Buyers are still buying. So overall I think the market is great. Everyones business should be improving and I hope it is. Let me know if you need any help in finding some hot properties.
The rate of home price appreciation in the U.S. remained slow but positive in the first quarter of 2007. We are showing what a great market to get into at this time. If you have been sitting on the fence thinking the housing market is not going anywhere or growing now is the time to invest in this market. We are continuing to appreciate even if other markets are falling or staying neutral.
The OFHEO Chief Economist Patrick Lawler says Prices are rising slowly in most areas.
Owning your own home or investing is still a great opportunity. We need the public to understand this, even if the new stories we hear about everyday are saying it is a doomsday as far as the Real Estate market is concerned and scaring everyone out of the market.
I have a home that I have listed, it is a very marketable home in a desirable neighborhood. I have not had any offers It is 3345 Sq ft. and is priced now @$325,000. It is the lowest priced home for the square footage in the area. It is new built in 2006. I just can't understand why no offers. I have it advertised everywhere I can think of about 20 Real Estate web sites. The MLS, home books. The yard is kept up nice and the house is spotless. The only thing I can think of is there is not the upgrades in the kitchen, such as granite and and fancy faucets. The floor is linoleum in stead of tile or wood. But my owner is not going to up grade since he just had it built. Does anyone have any suggestions in getting the home to even be looked at more, let alone have some offers on it. Thanks
Hi Everyone, I think summer is the best time of year. All the flower and trees and green grass. Hoping that business takes of and grows along with everything else. Making that happen is no easy task!! I hope that I can make it happen. In saying that I know that I have to make more calls and try to set more appointments for listings. I just have a hard time following up on that. I think it is the thought that the person would not want a sales calling which is exactly what agents are. But I hope to over come that and make headway in that department. Hope everyone has a great summer and business is good for everyone.
Here I thought it was going to be SPRING !!! I was getting already to go out and get lots of new business and list lots of homes. But winter is still here. I am really ready to see some warm weather, how about anyone else?? I have been trying to better my web-site, have made new prelisting presentations, buyer presentations, and everything else I can think of. Now I just need to jump in and start calling and going house to house to find some business. It seems there should be an easier way! But lots of competition out there. What things do you suggest to get ahead of it? I joined active-rain and it really gives me some good ides. I hope to continue, and get more. Any help is always appreciated. Real Estate whether selling or buying is hard work.
I want to thank everyone for their response to my blog. You were all very kind to give suggestions. Wes you were great and such a big help. I will try to implement your suggestions for optimizing my site. I have had the site for over three years and I thought by now it would be some where on the big search engines. If someone is looking in the Salt Lake City , Wasatch Front they would never find me. That is the frustrating thing about all this. I do put my website on all my marketing material and everything I send out, but that doesn't do anything for out of area buyers. Hopefully the things suggested will help. Everyone have a great Valentines Day and do something great for your loved ones. Thanks Debra Siglin
I just completed another Real Estate course, boy there is so much information its hard to focus on all they have to offer. The technology has made our job so much easier. In just the last few years our industry has made big leaps. It makes you wonder what is next. I am excited to keep up on everything. I am now trying to decide whether to replace my notebook with a tablet PC. My mother board has gone out on mine. Does any one have any suggestions on them? I would appreciate your opinions. Well it is getting very late and its Saturday night so better do something exciting. Thanks Debra
