I have been glued to the television for the past two days watching the coverage of the Casey Anthony trial.  So today, the verdict comes in.  One year for every count of lying to the police.  It is so sad that she could be out in a month once she is given credit for time served.  One juror spoke up this morning reminding us that "Not guilty" does not mean "Innocent."  It seems a mute point to me.

Help us prevent this extreme case of child abuse by volunteering in the SC Guardian ad Litem program.  We are authorized by the Governor's office and assigned by a judge to look out for the best interest of a child/children who are involved with DSS.  Call our Oconee County director for more information 864-638-2267.
