After surviving an 8-day settlement process, I wish to no longer cooperate with real estate agents that are not Realtors. The difference in my opinion is ethics and honesty. I do not know if that is a possibility with the MLS rules, but if not, I will surely advocate for such a thing. Why? Cooperating with agents that are free from following the Code of Ethics that we as Realtors pledge to follow is very frustrating. Philadelphia Gas Works also known as PGW, had a rule in the past regarding placing liens against the title of property for unpaid gas bills. This rule put landlords in a terrible position. My Dad has passed away the afternoon of May 5th, 2017. What does this have to do with my real estate career? Well one word, everything. My Dad, who I call Pops, was not in my life early on.
