The following graphs take a 10 year look at the price per square foot and the residential resale inventory for the El Dorado County Market and the Sacramento Country Market. For El Dorado County you can see we are basically back to 2001 prices. In January 2001 the price per square foot average for residential sales was $133. For December 2011, the price per square foot average was $134.

Price Per Sq Ft Growth for El Dorado County Since January 2001 The following graph shows the price per square foot growth for El Dorado County since January 2001 verses the residential resale inventory for the same time periods. Compared to January 2001, our price per square foot figures are still up 5.26%. Price per square foot peaked in January 2006 and July 2006 at $260 and as of January 2011 that figure was $137.

El Dorado County Average Home Price by Month 1999-2010 Below is a chart showing El Dorado County's Average Home Price by Month for 1999 thru 2010. You can see how 2006 was the year when home prices peaked. I am also including here a 15 month look at the average home prices for Placerville, El Dorado Hills, and Cameron Park.
