Down Payment Assistance through Neighborhood Stabilization Program in Toledo Ohio. Did you know Toledo has a Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP)? This is an initiative funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), aimed at helping neighborhoods in many areas that have been hard hit by the current real estate market, especially because of foreclosures. Driving through many Toledo areas, one will see abandoned houses time and time again. While being an eyesore, these homes also contribute to urban blight. down payment assistance: USDA Rural Housing Program Eligibility link - 11/02/09 06:54 PM

If you click (or cut and paste) the link below and type in the address of the property you are looking up, it will tell you if that property is eligible for the USDA Rural Housing Program. Rumor has it that they (Rural Housing) are currently out of money, but will be funded for 2010 shortly. Perhaps only weeks.

Here is the link that will allow you to put an address in to see if the property is eligible for Rural Housing Financing...it is a great marketing tool!!
