Lombardy Hall is the colonial home of Gunning Bedford, Jr, one of the Delaware signers of the U.S. Constitution. They will be holding their annual Open House on Saturday, December 7 and Sunday, December 8 from 1-4 PM. Lombardy Hall is a National Historic Landmark home c 1750 in North Wilmington at 1611 Concord Pike.  Lombardy is usually open only by appointment. Located between Independence Mall and Lombardy Cemetery.

The biggest news I have for Delaware historic home lovers is that Stonum, the country home of George Read, Signer of the Declaration of Independence, is now on the market. We already have had some public attention from the local newspaper, and two TV stations. We have also been fortunate to have visits from both the staff of the George Read II house museum and the New Castle Historical Society, as well as the University of Delaware CHAD.
