When I suggested to janeAnne an experiment in Eco design for the Eco All Stars group I really wanted to know where peoples intentions lay. It's one thing to advise our clients on what we think is right as far as environmental design goes but it's another to put your money where your mouth is.
Imagine we've won the pink Environmental lottery - Yippee! Woo Hoo! WOW! Money is no object and we are going to build own houses. But the rules of the game are that we are limited to 5 elements and an explanation of why we chose them.

Recently I heard a story from an A.R. member. Another A.R. member offered to get the first members web page higher on Google. After some debate and discussion it turns out the A.R. who offered to help may have had their heart in the right place but their own web site wasn't doing well enough to brag about. And what is working for one (even temperately) may not work for another.

The Built Green trend is taking over. And whether you buy into the global warming issues or not the trend is taking root. If you have watched T.V. gone to the movies, picked up a newspaper or driven past a car lot you have surely noticed that the world is becoming more conscience of the mark we are leaving behind. The idea of "pay it forward" and preserving our planet for future generations is big right now.

Becky and Bob Buyer are transferring jobs and are looking for a new home in Dry Flats Colorado. Bob is a bottom line kind of guy and Becky is looking for a home that won't trigger her migrans or allergies. They have two children Brenda is all about Pandas and Bobbie enjoys being out on his bicycle when ever he can. Dry Flats is close to the new jobs are, has excellent shopping, restaurants, educational opportunities, 300+ days of sunshine and low humidity.
