To commit to anything, you must be ready, willing and able. If these things are not in place you really aren’t committed to your goal.
Let’s talk about buying a house.
1) Are you ready? Tell your REALTOR when you would like to accomplish buying a house. If you need to move right away, you are 1/2 packed and a new job or situation is waiting – you are ready. Same goes with selling you house. Prove to your agent and buyers you want to move.

buyers: How do buyers get off the fence? - 12/20/08 09:10 PM
Franklin D. Roosevelt said: "There is nothing to fear but fear itself." and: I'd bet every Realtor who still has a license has at least one buyer who wants to buy, but.... There is something holding that buyer back. For me I have a few of buyers who want to buy. They are doing internet searches, they call or e-mail me with questions, they even visit properties. They just can't get off the fence and make the commitment to buy.

buyers: Waiting for buyers to commit to where? - 04/23/08 03:25 PM
Several agents including Broker Bryant and Scott Daniels have written blog posts about not becoming a taxi service for potential real estate clients. And like other agents I try to qualify buyers, ask the right questions and make sure they have a pre-qual prior to gassing up my car and driving around all day. In fact I ask enough questions that my employing broker criticizes me for being to pushy. But with gas being what it is today, I feel like I've got to do a little research first and be prepared for everything.

buyers: Craigslist? - 09/22/06 09:34 AM
This might be an idiotic question to ask fellow bloggers, but I’m going to ask any way. Has anyone had any success on any level on Craigslist? Have you tried to sell a house? Have you attracted buyers? Have you had a response of any kind? Somebody here on Active Rain said Craigslist made the phone ring but that was all. Anyone have a different experience?
