To commit to anything, you must be ready, willing and able. If these things are not in place you really aren’t committed to your goal.
Let’s talk about buying a house.
1) Are you ready? Tell your REALTOR when you would like to accomplish buying a house. If you need to move right away, you are 1/2 packed and a new job or situation is waiting – you are ready. Same goes with selling you house. Prove to your agent and buyers you want to move.

Sellers need to educate themselves on all the facts of selling in a difficult market. Arm yourself with a Great Realtor and some facts. Know what the market is doing in your area, how is your property most like or different than the neighbors and do those differences make that big a difference.

Not long ago I was invited to go to a sales meeting / class at a local title company. There were no continuing education credits, but I figured it might be worth my time. Most of the meeting and information was a review for me, nothing new. But I was sitting next to a heavy hitter here in town who was taking notes like he had never heard this information before, and maybe he hadn't. This might be an idiotic question to ask fellow bloggers, but I’m going to ask any way. Has anyone had any success on any level on Craigslist? Have you tried to sell a house? Have you attracted buyers? Have you had a response of any kind? Somebody here on Active Rain said Craigslist made the phone ring but that was all. Anyone have a different experience?
