fha loans: FHA changes take effect October 4th - 09/14/10 11:01 AM

FHA is changing the MIP on loans effective October 4, 2010. The monthly fees are going to make a large jump. For example, if you have a $200,000 loan your monthly payments will go up about $60.00 a month.
If you are working on getting a FHA loan your loan officer needs to register your loan no later than October 1, 2010. If you are not sure if your FHA loan has been registered with FHA contact your Mortgage Loan Officer and ask the question.
