Canyon Lake has a well-manicured par-71, 75-acre private golf course. The 5,868-yard course is an 18-Hole Regulation Course with a Driving Range, Practice Putting Green, Clubhouse, Pro Shop, and has rental carts available or you can use your own. Canyon Lake is one of California's Best Kept Secret! It is centrally located between Corona and Temecula, and is close to both the I-15 and I-215 freeway. The quickest way to get to Canyon Lake from the I-15 fwy. is to exit Railroad Canyon and go East. Canyon Lake began as a Master-Planned Community developed by Corona Land Company in 1968. The Lake originally was formed in 1927 after Railroad Canyon Dam was built. Just seven and a half miles to the east is the exclusive community of Canyon Lake. It sits in the southwest quadrant of Riverside County, approximately twenty minutes north of the burgeoning wine (0 comments)

Walk Riverside: Routes & Trails - 05/02/07 11:51 PM
This is a great time of year to pull out those hiking boots and start hiking some of the beautiful trails of Riverside County. We have great places to walk for enjoyment as well for your physical overall health. It's best to walk at a speed that you can still carry on a conversation, and it's also recommended that you should walk at least 30 min. a day at your target heart rate. (To calculate your target heart rate, take 220, and subtract your age and multiply that number by 60% and 80%. The number in between is your target heart rate.) (2 comments)
