housing trends tiffin ia: Breakdown of Single Family Homes, Zero Lots & Condos Sold in Tiffin IA Jan - Dec 2011 - 01/10/12 11:00 PM

Tiffin is the last of the communities I cover to get a break down in home sales for 2011. Not too many homes sell in Tiffin in a year so it's not as telling as in the bigger communities - Iowa City, Coralville and North Liberty. New construction is as popular as ever with buyers making Tiffin an area worth watching with lots of land for sale and plenty of new construction going up. It will be interesting to see how the real estate market shapes up in Tiffin in the next few years. I'm sure we'll see some major changes in the housing market … (4 comments)

If you don't own a home in Tiffin it may it not be on your radar. To give you an idea of where it is and the lay of the land around here. I'm located in central Coralville. Coralville is situated between Iowa City and Tiffin. 10 minutes west on 2nd Street, (aka Coralville Strip) gets me to Tiffin. 10 minutes east and I'm in downtown Iowa City. Tiffin is a rural area with a population of about 1000 at present. Major things that Tiffin has going for it are that the Clear Creek High School and Middle School are both located there.
