For those events that will be charging admission, no ticket is more than $25/person. This is the first ever Palustris Festival here in the Sandhills and we are looking forward to the 4 day event. The Festival will showcase: visual, literary and performing arts. We do love our golf here, but the area has so much more to offer! So if you're near the Sandhills next weekend, stop by and enjoy some of the entertainment!!!

It is a favorite of the locals for breakfast and lunch, but I had never taken the time to give it a try. UNTIL last week! I'm talking about the Pinehurst Track Restaurant. It is a very small obscure white building located beside the Harness Track on Hwy 5 in Pinehurst.I went for a late lunch and if you do the same, you better get there before 2:00 - because that is when they close for the day.I ordered the Burger with cheese, of course, which comes with a side of chips.
