Brian Buffini calls them "Pop Bys".  "Take them to your "A" clients, your vendors & business associates and to networking, charity, chruch or service groups...I am a Lion Member.
Other Real Estate trainers have different names for them but the concept is the same.  Have a small "item of Value" which does not have to be expensive because you are really the IOV. 
Call ahead then "Pop By" with a little gift to say "Hi", I am still in the business and I am never too busy for your referrals.

How to save time and still feed Social Media
I have been using www.hootsuite lately and have been happy with it's ease of use but not with the content.
After reading Mr Internet's guest blog, I understand why I have not been pleased with my resultsalong with the time savings.
They give a good step-by-step process for feeding Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and your blog without doing each one seperately.  The setup time for getting this in place seems short but I can see the benefits are long.
