Denver is Hot - Where Do you go to Cool Off?
We broke a record yesterday for the date with a high of 100 in Denver.  Yikes!  And its still June!  They are predicting 99 for today and although its supposed to cool down a little throughout the week, its still hot. 
When my family gets hot, we love to go swimming.  But to add a bit more excitement, they love the water parks.  And I get to be a kid too when we go.

One of the great parts of living in Denver is that there are always activities for those looking for something to do.  Here is a fun activities for this weekend for those that live in Littleton, or anywhere in the Denver Metro Area.  At Aspen Grove Lifestyle Center, The Littleton Art and Acoustic Music Festival will take place this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  There will be over 100 artists set up throughout the Aspen Grove parking lot and many musical performances by acoustic musicians.

A few weeks ago I blogged about the Highlands Ranch Carnival that was coming to town.  We did get to attend as planned, and although it was an overcast evening with a bit of wind and rain was threatening - typical to Colorado - the skies cleared and a fun evening was enjoyed by my family. 
Yes, it was a small event.  BUt it was great fun.  My own children thought it was the best thing since sliced bread.  I love it when they enjoy the simple pleasures.

It seems that almost every day this week has been close to 100 degrees.  Its hot.  Need an escape?  Do what we do, skate.

The Denver Museum of Nature & Science is known for its great traveling exhibits that it hosts.  And the next one is no exception.  This weekend the Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition opens up and runs from June 22 - January 6, 2008.  The Titanic history and attractions are not new to Denver, as the Molly Brown House is quite a popular attraction in Denver.

Pack your picnic and head to Civc Geen Park tomorrow, June 13th for the special "Kids Koncert".

I get so many home buyers and potential real estate clients in the Denver suburbs asking me to help find them a home with mountain views.  Why not?  Living in Colorado with such beauty to admire I can't blame them at all.  And some even desire that double bonus of the downtown view or city lights.  So the search begins.
