Westridge Pointe is a subdivision of homes roughly between Town Center Drive and Highlands Ranch Parkway and Redstone Park to Marcy Park, on the west side of the ranch. I am sitting here watching the Nuggets game on & off while I am blogging tonight.
I really want the Denver Nuggets to do well in the play offs.
Like many I was tired much of the season with the Melo-drama and could not be more pleased with how well they have done since his departure.
Also like many, I was very sorry to see Chauncey leave as well, but what can you say.
Enough of all that - that is history!

Douglas County Schools Moves Off Of Year Round Tracks - 04/17/11 11:33 PM
The Douglas County School District's calendars have evolved over years.
In years past, I have explained the Year Round Track system numerous times. In a nutshell, in was a scheduling way to service more students in less space. 3/4 of the students would be on track while 1/4 would not and all would share space. The track system was just for elementary schools. When A track would track off, D would track back on and take over their classrooms.
Some people loved tracks, others did not.

Speechless Sunday - One Of The Most Fascinating Places I've Ever Been - 04/17/11 04:56 PM
Almost 4 years ago I was fortunate to visit Spain. We took a day trip to the Alhambra and Generalife. I have never been to Europe, so much of what I saw during the entire week was jaw droppping, but this took the cake. The Alhambra is in Granada and if you ever get the chance to visit, I highly suggest it.
We spent the entire day here and I had a great time tagging along with my brother in law and father in law who are both excellent photographers that gave me many tips throughout the day.

I’m seeing a lot of red and I’m not angry, I’m happy! Highlands Ranch homes, at least for March, is a seller’s market for the most part. I know, I know, the inventory is just down in general. True. But for the available inventory out there for the current market, the statistics look promising for sellers and actually good for buyers.

Tomorrow, Saturday April 9th is the date for the very popular 9News Health Fair in Highlands Ranch.
There are other locations for the 9News Health Fair throughout the state on other dates as well.
Head over to the Eastridge Rec Center from 7 - 9 for very affordable screenings (some free, some very low reasonable cost) and opportunities to ask medical questions.
The 9News Health Fairs tend to be crowded, get their early and be prepared to stay a bit, but it will be worth it!

Yesterday, on 4/2/11, it reached 84 degrees in the Denver area. Today it is snowing. And I'm not fooling!
I took this photo yesterday in Broomfield, CO, northwest of Denver. My son had an away lacrosse game and had to be there an hour before game time so I took a walk and loved the area.
That's one thing you'll learn if you are relocating to the Denver area and you have kids - if they play competitive youth sports - you'll be doing some driving. We traveled from Highlands Ranch to this game while my wife and my daughter … (9 comments)
