Today is the day, Saturday March 12th the Lebsack Tennis Center in Redstone Park officially opens for the season.
The opening is officially at 9:30 until noon and there will be free adult drills, racket demos, entertainment with music and a clown and even some discounted class registrations, according to the flyer.
The courts were a flurry of activity all week getting washed and cleaned up and ready for the season grand opening.

Today I propose that you head into Denver, get out of the ‘burbs and visit the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
Today, Sunday, November 14 is a free day for all, what better way to enjoy the day! And if you are thinking, there is no way I am stepping foot in a museum on a free day, its too crowded…well, maybe everyone else is thinking the same thing and staying home!

denver parks: Living in Littleton - War Memorial Rose Garden - 07/20/08 12:43 AM
Old Littleton has many parts that are simply charming and if you venture off the main road just a little bit, you will run into the War Memorial Rose Garden.
This is the time of year that the gardens are just spectacular.
There are weddings and other special events here on a regular basis - the gazebo in the gardens is a perfect spot for a wedding.
The Sterne Fountains in the middle also tend to be a popular spot for formal photography. The pictures here were taken in the end of June of this year.

As the temps in Denver near 100 this weekend and as I plan my own trip to Water World with my family for next week (we are going on Monday is the weather cooperates) - I thought I would re-post this list that I made from last summer of Denver Area Water Parks. My kids are very excite about our upcoming visit to Water World and have already visited their map online to figure out where they want to "sit" (although we don't do much sitting) and what rides they want to ride first.
