Yes, the Denver housing market is slow - due to everything occurring around us and add to it the time of year. But I have been working with several buyers, all from out of state, and I have also been busy working on other areas of my business. Its been 9 1/2 years since I have moved my own family from point A to Point B. And even that was just cross town from one side of Highlands Ranch to the other. Prior to that I had moved a few years beofre from one area of South East Denver to Highlands Ranch. Over those years I have had to move professionally a few times.
I finished another move of sorts today. I have not switched brokerages but have decided to home office 100%. I work from home a great deal anyway, and really only was spending about 4 - 6 hours a week … (11 comments)

Today I want to talk about and show you a small pocket of the Highlands Ranch real estate market in Westridge Pointe. In fact - I am going to divide it out even further and just show you the far north west corner of Westridge Pointe - including the streets of High Cliffe Pl, the Hackberrys, the Golden Eagles and Painted Canyon. Firelight is a community in Highlands Ranch, CO.
Located in the Southridge area - Firelight is known for its higher location - some of the homes are actually on the highest lots in Highlands Ranch. This of course provides really terrific views form many homes in Firelight of both the front range and downtown Denver. Some folks even enjoy the sparser twinkling of the Denver Tech Center.
But one of the really nice parts of Firelight is its proximity to the Back Country Wildnerness Open Space. The homes that back to The Back Country Wildneress truly are something to see.

As announced in various sources this morning, Vestas American Wind Technology, Inc. will be building 2 factories in Brighton and bringing many new jobs to Colorado - 1350 of them.
Vestas already has a plain Windsor and has chosen Brighton partly because of its proximity to the existing plant. The announcement furthers the renawable energy business in Colorado that continues to grow here.

Living in Highlands Ranch, CO - Dog Daze of Summer This Saturday, 8/16 the Dog Daze of Summer will be held at on the east side of Redstone Park - just across from Rover's Run.
Personally I am a bit excited about the event - for years I have driven by this annual doggy party as I live very close to Rover's Run - but now this year we have a dog - so we will be there as well to see what its all about. I can tell you this, I know my dog is going to love it.

Weatherstone remains to be a neighborhood that I always receive inquiries about when folks are considering Highlands Ranch in their Denver relocation.
It is very easy to understand the interest and desire in Weatherstone homes. Weatherstone has a great location, many of the yards in Weatherstone are larger than other Highlands Ranch neighborhoods, it has its own pool, a neighborhood park, a new elementary school -Stone Mountain Elementary and the homes in Weatherstone are absolutely gorgeous.
