As a Highlands Ranch Chamber of Commerce member, I try to get to as many business events in Highlands Ranch as I can. Yesterday was the grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for BTO Frozen Yogurt.
Owner, Jack Doyle was a terrific host for the grand opening event. Due to his generosity, part of the proceeds on March 16th will be donated to the Chelsea Hutchison Foundation. There are 2 things I have found over the years about Denver winters that are surprising to my Denver relocation clients.
#1) That we aren't always buried in cold & snow from November through March. We covered that a bit lately, so I won't really cover that again today.

Living in Highlands Ranch – New Trash and Recycling
I came across more good news for those of us living in Highlands Ranch. The HRCA Board of Directors has negotiated an agreement with Pro Disposal for reduced cost trash and recycling service. Highlands Ranch residents do not have to take part in this, it is an opt in program, you can stay with your current trash pick-up provider. There are more details to the program which you can read about here.
