social media: What I learned at RE BarCamp: DC - 10/28/09 02:53 PM

I attended my 5th Real Estate BarCamp (RE BarCamp: DC) yesterday in Herndon, DC VA.  Each one has offered something a little different.  The first one, RE BarCamp: Virginia, was mind-blowing in that I got to meet - for the first time - a bunch of folks I had otherwise only known through social media.  Since then, each brought a new flavor or gave me a new takeaway.

social media: Social Media: Strategy v. Tactics - 10/19/09 01:27 PM
It's behind the Inman "pay wall" now, but a few weeks ago Rob Hahn penned an article suggesting that having a social media "strategy" was a flawed endeavor.  Rob later posted somewhat of a rebuttal to his critics, which you can read here for free.  I won't even bother trying to summarize it.  I love reading Rob, but sometimes he makes my brain hurt.  (H/T to Jim Duncan)
