Yes, it is a state park, but those who reside in Moss Bluff consider this beautiful park as an extension of their neighborhoods.
Like the good neighbors Moss Bluff residents are, they happily share the park with year-round visitors and campers from across the globe.

As I have watched the Olympians each night, in total awe, I must admit a new desire to return to the exercise equipment, walking paths and other avenues offered in Southwest Louisian to improve my general health. It was not ashes, but tons and hundreds of thousands of tons of timber loss resulting from Hurricane Rita.
