If you're from Coconut Creek, a great news awaits you with the soon-to-begin construction of The Residence Inn by Marriott. A Miami-based developer got nod after securing its second choice for its second site for this Marriott-branded extended stay hotel. Originally planned for construction on a 3-acre parcel of land in Lyons Road, the extended stay hotel will instead be erected on the former site of the Grifs Western store.
