Here is another question for you all. Does the success of your staging business depend on the type of homes you stage?
The reason I ask this question, is when I look around at Stagers who seem to be out there staging their little butts off have portfolios that look like all they stage are homes over the $300K mark. With budgets way over $1500.
That's it. You must market to the high end clients and Realtors of highend homes. Otherwise, the average joe in todays market just can't afford it.

Hello Fellow Stagers, I am looking to hear your success stories or things not to do.... How did you get your first staging and where did it go from there? What is your best marketing tool? Does most of your referrals come from Realtors? Do you market homeowners? What kind of advertising is best? Here in Southern Arizona staging is not widely used or accepted. Good morning Stagers. I have a question for you this fine morning. Cloudy here in S. Arizona. Okay. I have seen some newsletters out there such as, Constant Contact. Looks great! My question is it seems my emails or newsletters get lost. Very seldom to I get a response. I will say I have had some. Do they automatically fall into Realtors or Builders JUNK MAIL or what? Good Morning Stagers! I agree with charging what you value your worth to be. I recently placed a comment about staging and Realtors in my area complaining I was too expensive for the area. They were looking at my pricing services and said for a half day of staging I was charging $50hr. and no one would pay that.I was charging $250 for  4-5hrs. of staging the major areas of the home. Hello. I need help posting a realestateshow. I have done one in the past but it does not seem to be working. All I am getting is the incription codes not the picture. I have tried highlighting the codes while ing realestateshows then clicking copy then going to activerain blog and clicking paste. Thats is when I get the incription code no picture...HELP

I lost points on Active Rain Beware NEWBIES - 08/07/08 09:17 AM
Good Morning Newbies... I was looking at my blogs yesterday and realized one of them was all incriptions for a realestate show I had placed months ago and went to delet it and ended up deleting the shows as well and lost about 600 points. So BEWARE when you delet a blog you will lose points as well.
I am not very good at reading all the rules about blogging. I will learn as I go. Something else I learned is that when you blog you need to have so many words to get points. No short and sweet entries.... So … (1 comments)
