So here I am my third shot at the week in review. Now let me explain my mindset and that will explain my choices.
Its a new year and to me that means change. I know one thing for sure..... If you continue to do the same action, you'll get the same result.
As agents, with the market "changing" as it has, we have to adapt. Change.

I was chatting here with an agent by the name of Amanda Hall. I've come to learn that she's been a member of active rain for a couple of months, but this is the first I am seeing/hearing from her.
She resurrected some old post of mine yesterday which got us to chatting via email.

I just returned from an intensive 2 day seminar in Las Vegas. This was a Re/Max Team Summit with Brian Buffini. I would have to say I am on brain overload from the seminar but in a good way.

All kidding aside... 50,000 + points and a different prospective on Real Estate.
I've been in this industry and a member of an office that exceeds 100 agents. Do you realize the mentality of the average agent? Its "shhhhhhhhh don't tell others what you're doing", because everyone thinks they found some "new" thing to make themselves better than the rest.
Success is simple. Its consistency, persistence, quality of service, team work, listening & lets not forget continued education.

When I am having a bad day... I often think "why do I do what I do"... Well today is one of those days.
The weather is lousy and I gave my entire team off for the holiday (what was I thinking) and I am sitting here pluggin' away, pulling my hair out.

Well this little sit down was between myself and a fellow team leader. We had a couple of ideas to run past each other and then we both had the same comment....

It seems that the general public is certainly more educated with regards to the real estate world.
When selling a home.... Interviewing multiple agents is always a good idea. Look for the facts. Ask the right questions...

I got a message from one of my agents who was clearly in tears this morning. I thought my god, not today, Friday, I have seminar, 2 closings and its supposed to snow. Thank god for my background in Psychology

Have agents gotten lazy or is this the Trend I am just not following. I've always been know as a "rebel" but this is one horse I am not riding.
I have to say my disappointment in the real estate community here in Soprano land has been disappointing at best.
I have am the team leader with 4 buyers agents that work for me. What this means is I rarely show homes. But lately do to some scheduling difficulties I have been.

I've reached a point with my website that I need to revamp it... "clean it up". We have been having huge sucess and hits on the site, but I am hesitant to release the reigns so to say to someone (a company) to do these things.
Okay so I am a bit of a control freak I can admit it. Do you wonderful people have any suggestions or recommendations. The only people we've been recommended are affiliated with the website we use.
