The story I am about to tell you occured in October 2005.  It was not my first staging job, but it was the most efficient. 
While attempting to grow my business, I contacted a Realtor friend of mine and asked her if she had any listings that could use some help.  I needed before and after photos and a story to tell, so I offered to stage 2 rooms for one of her clients for free.  She immediately put me in contact with a seller who had been listed with her for over 12 months.

Snowbound in Indiana - 02/13/07 04:02 PM
The day before Valentine's, everything has come to a halt in Northwest indiana.  School is cancelled, agents can't get to their offices (only one I talked to today was actually in the office) and the presentation we had this morning is rescheduled for next week.
It started snowing last night and has not let up since.  Predictions range from six to 8 inches, but this is the land of the drift and the pile of snow on my patio table measures 14 inches.  The view is beautiful , but the drive is deadly so life stops until the salt trucks can make an … (7 comments)
