marketing ideas: A National Sport That Depends on Local Involvement: Why Realtors (and their companies) Should Get Involved. - 07/05/08 01:07 PM
My daughter races a soapbox derby car. Recently she won her local event and was awarded the once in a lifetime opportunity to attend the All American Soapbox Derby Championship in Akron, Ohio. Now, I confess that as supportive as I was of this pastime, I am not much involved in it. My husband used to be a race car driver and is very enthusiastic about it, so I let him take care of the whole of it. I like to say 'it is their Daddy/Daughter thing' and let them at it. However, with her recent accomplishment, my involvement is now called

marketing ideas: For Karen, Sheila and Shobha - A Peek at My Marketing Packet - 06/15/08 12:34 PM
I told Karen Dembsky (many months ago) and Sheila (many weeks ago) that I would post this and Shobha's post reminded me of my promise, so here it is. Without showing too much of the package itself, below are some photos to kind of illustrate what I am talking about. The Realtor packet that I have created uses a special poly folding file folder. I truly feel that the most successful in this field gain fulfillment from the serving of others and those who do it foe purely selfish reasons are doomed for failure. In a business such as this, trust is paramount to a successful career and trust often begins with some level of personal connection - even if it is just a word

marketing ideas: Every Day is a Holiday - 01/10/07 06:01 PM
Did you know that virtually every day is actually - officially - a holiday of some sort? It's true! When my girls were preschoolers, I stumbled upon a list of obscure and bizarre holidays that are truly real, established holidays. I would pick from this list on random days to keep my girls occupied. We celebrated many things like National Plant a Flower Day , Be an Angel Day, National Sea Monkey Day, and my personal favorite Chocolate Cake Day (it's January 27th, BTW). It was a great resource to use for activities and fun - especially when I was at my wits end as to
