real estate staging: REALTORĀ® Magazine - My Latest Article: What To Look For When Choosing a Home Stager - 09/23/10 02:52 PM
Last year I wrote an article for my Active Rain blog that provided information on things to look for when choosing a Home Stager to work with. It actually got featured on AR at the time. It's such an important topic, that I felt it was time for the subject to be addressed again. That's why recently, I submitted the article to REALTOR® Magazine for their blog Styled, Staged & Sold. You can read the article here: What To Look For When Choosing a Home Stager. I hope you find it helpful if you're thinking about adding the services of a Home Stager to your marketing program. real estate staging: De-Staging: The Least Favourite Part of a Home Stager's Job - 06/11/08 07:03 PM
I was at a client's home the other evening to de-stage their property. I got thinking about how I feel each time I do that. There's always a bit of melancholy going back to remove everything that was carefully chosen and placed in a home. A lot of time and effort goes into making each property outshine its competition. The large grey elephant that you painstakingly painted on your dining room wall inspired by your summer vacation may be a selling feature to you. However, not everyone else is going to feel the same way. The same goes for dear old Aunt Edna's life-size

real estate staging: Put A Smile On Your Home's Face - The Importance of Curb Appeal - 05/27/07 08:31 PM
Many people underestimate the importance of curb appeal when selling their home. When you want to get top dollar for your property, it's important that the exterior be just as appealing as the interior. Why not put the effort into the little extras that will show people how much you have cared for your home. Many potential buyers scout around their target areas taking down the numbers of homes for sale that are of interest to them. If the outside of your home looks tired and uncared for, chances are your real estate agent won't be getting a call from that potential buyer to book a
