The Solanco High School's music department in Quarryville Pennsylvania will present its spring choral concert on Thursday April 20, at 7:30 PM in the auditorium at the high school. The high school is located at 585 Solanco Road, Quarryville.
The event is free and open to the public. The mixed Chorus and Chorale, featuring students from grades nine through twelve, will present folk songs from the U.S. And other countries. Selections will include “Shenandoah” and “Danny Boy”.

The Solanco Lacrosse Club is seeking boys in fifth through twelfth grades to play Lacrosse. No experience necessary. Practices will take place on Fridays in the gym at Swift Middle School,1866 Robert Fulton Highway Quarryville, PA. Practice will run from 3:15 until 5:00 PM. The spring season will officially begin in March and continue through the middle of May.

The Solanco Post Prom will receive proceeds from a show by Nelson Papucci, comedian / hypnotist, on Saturday January 28 at 7 PM at Solanco High School. The High School is located at 585 Solanco Road, Quarryville, PA. The show will be held in the auditorium.

The annual Youth Basketball Camp was held at Solanco High School last week. The camp was offered to both boys and girls who had completed grades three through eight.
The primary focus of the camp was to provide all campers the opportunity to enhance their basketball skills. The camp provided an environment where each camper could work hard, develop fundamental skills, and have fun.
Most of the instruction was provided at 13 stations. The stations included: shooting, passing, dribbling, speed and agility, defensive and offensive concepts, among others. Co-Director Chad McDowell said, “Our daily activities included stations, competitions, and three on (2 comments)
Emelyn Hatch and Alexis Davis were named valedictorian and salutatorian respectively as the top academic students in the Solanco High School Class of 2016. They addressed their classmates and attendees during the recent graduation ceremonies at the high school football field.
Emelyn will attend Wake Forest University, and Alexis will attend Swarthmore College.
