Standard and Poor's/Case-Shiller's home price index was released yesterday, in it was data showing that the Dallas area home prces were up 3% over December sales last year.  In November prices were up 1.4% - resulting in the first 2 month stretch of gains in more than 2 years!  In fact Dallas was #2 behind San Francisco  (+4.8%) in December price gains - and beating out Washington D.C. where there was a 1% improvement.
