The Triangle comprises primarily of Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill -- and many surrounding cities and towns. But, Durham is definitely the point in the triangle that has something to prove. The beauty of our position is that we try harder -- both to share the many great things about our city and to continue improving our city

durham county visitors bureau: SW Durham Real Estate: How I Chose Parkwood - 02/22/08 11:14 PM
Honestly, I never imagined myself living in Durham. But here's how it happened. This is a true story! After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I bought my first home -- a townhome actually -- in Carrboro. I loved the small-town atmosphere and the sense of community there. I thought I would never leave. Then, as I accumulated more "stuff" and desired to live in a neighborhood a little quieter and less "studenty" and a home a little larger, I began looking for a detached home. I quickly found that there were no homes in my price range
