Agents Can Help Both Buyers And Sellers - 01/31/11 08:15 AM
Individuals can expect a real estate agent to help them navigate a process that can prove intimidating.
Buying a Home1.  Schedule a consultation to discuss what features and amenities you are looking for in a home.2.  The agent may suggest you speak with a mortgage consultant to figure out your buying power and obtain a mortgage pre-approval letter.3.  The agent will then look up home listings in a particular price range and help you to view the homes.4.  When you find a home you want to purchase, the real estate agent will help you come up with a fair market price and … (0 comments)

Radioactivity.

Green Kitchen Countertops, Eco-Friendly Choices - 01/23/11 08:27 AM
Save money over granite and be kind to your home planet. How? Pick a green kitchen countertop material when you remodel your kitchen.
If you're replacing your kitchen countertops, it's smart to go green whether you're on a tight budget or can afford something luxe. These days, sustainable materials are just as good looking as traditional countertops like granite or quartz, so making a green choice won't ding your home's resale value.
What's green? Green kitchen countertops feature recycled or sustainable content, low toxicity binders, eco-friendly manufacturing processes or a combination. Local production is good, too, if you can arrange it, … (0 comments)

Insurance For Your Home Business - 01/21/11 08:49 AM
If you work out of your house, you need to think about insurance for your home-based business. A homeowners policy probably doesn't offer much protection against loss of business equipment, not to mention liability if a client gets hurt or compensation if your business is disrupted by a fire, flood, or other disaster.
Many people think homeowners insurance will cover a home-based business in a catastrophe. Policies vary, but in reality most typically top out at a few hundred dollars for business property lost to a fire, burglary, or natural disaster.
The most economical way to insure your home-based business is … (1 comments)
