2 really inexpensive things you can do is paint and re-grout. You can do the job for around $100 and some elbow grease.
First, tackle the grout. Give the walls a good washing to remove any soap scum or hard water stains. Next, check out the caulking at the joint where the wall meets the tub.
Check the color of the grout for yellowing. Also check for voids. If either is present, use a rubber grout trowel to force the new grout into the joints. Re-caulk the wall-tub joint.

Still no decisions have been made regarding the fate of the old Oxford Township Hall, now owned by the village and very little input was received from the public to help guide officials in making one.
Only 2 citizens spoke on the issue at last weeks village council meeting.
Occupying the eastern end of the Burdick St. municipal complex, the old township hall is 1 story with a basement. The 1st floor consists of approximately 2500 square feet of space with 2 restrooms and 7 plus office areas.

The city of AuGres will have a few extra dollars to spend on sprucing up the downtown area after the city council reallocated around $550,000 in bond money, by passing a resolution at its meeting Tuesday, March 1st.
Due to receiving a number of grants for projects, bond money that had been collected for the city's Capitol Projects fund since 2007, would have gone toward those projects, will now go toward other improvements for the city.

The Oconto left Oscoda on 12/04/1885 with 22 passengers and 25 crew-members on what was supposed to be a short trip to Alpena. About an hour after they got underway a winter storm descended on Lake Huron and engulfed the Oconto and its crew in a blinding gale snowstorm.

Tawas Bay has been selected for the site of the 2012 North American Championship Regatta for the j22 class of sailboats.
Hosted by theTawas Bay Yacht Club (TBYC), the championship will be held September 11-14, 2012.
The j22 North American championships are held every 2 years on even years and alternate years with the j22 World Championships. The 2011 World Championship is scheduled for October 9-15 at New Orleans, LA.
