Great blog and great information written by Mark Schmitz. Are you wondering why your credit score is what it is even though you thought you did everything right? Mark gives these tips to make sure your credit score is good enough to make that home ownership dream come true. Via Mark Schmitz (Aurora Bank FSB):
1st off......who are you to say it isn't?  You definately need to talk to a mortgage professional and have a tri-merge credit pull done.  Why a tri-merge?   Banks will always look at all 3 of your credit scores and use the median score to determine your creditworthiness.

I have been trying to keep updated with credit scoring and financing because it has a direct effect on the real estate market and, therefore, me. I found this great article by Leslie McFadden, Bankrate.com, written today about the new FICO 8 score...A VERY interesting read.
