All real estate is local and Missoula, Montana is not any different.  We are experiencing some characteristics like short sales and foreclosures, however, not at the rate of many other areas of the country.  Our median price has dropped a little, but not much but the good news is that sales are on the rise.  2007 & 2008 brought a drop in the total number of sales, but it appears that home sales are on the rise again.  We are fortunate that Missoula is a wonderful place to live, work and play and that people continue to want to make Missoula their home.  The University of Montana brings so much to our community in so many ways along with our strong medical community.  We have some of the best Doctors in the country....right here in Missoula.  Tune in to my weekly radio show called Missoula Real Estate Today on KGVO 1290 @ 10 am on Sunday for more information on the current status of the real estate market in Missoula!
