What if you had a Home Warranty? - 06/30/11 04:51 PM
What if you had a Home Warranty? Buying and selling a home can bring many emotions.... excitement for change and questions about the mechanics of the house. Instead of playing the what if game for such a large purchase, I always recommend our Coldwell Banker(R) Home Protection Plan. It’s issued and administered by American Home Shield. What I love about it is the piece of mind it offers buyers & sellers. With the right coverage you can even be covered for preexisting conditions. What if your air conditioning unit goes up while you are patiently awaiting settlement? That could cost a (0 comments)
White's Bicycles ~ Westminster, Maryland - 06/30/11 04:07 PM
White’s Bicycles, Westminster, Maryland Get the bike fixed or get up every morning and drive Cole to work? My son Cole works on a local vineyard, just 2 miles away from home, an easy ride …. by bike to work and back home every day. His bike has experienced wear and tear over the past few years and wasn’t really safe to ride. When Cole came to me with the laundry list of repairs the bike needed I thought I may be cheaper to purchase a new bike.We took the bike to White’s Bicycles at 12 West Main Street in Westminster, (1 comments)

Wordless Wednesday ~ Every Birdy Welcome! I am an animal lover, obviously to anyone who has read my blog on a regular basis, that includes backyard bird watching and the annual garage bird(s). Yes, I said garage bird(s). This year we were blessed with two nests in the garage, one in not such a good place....
Above the garage door opener....Yikes! I did hear a lot of singing the last few mornings so I believe they are ok. Thankfully it looks like they (5 comments)

My sellers hire me to sell their houseIt’s just that simple. This weekend I had open houses and took advantage of the time to learn new video skills. Do you need an ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT? - 06/15/11 07:03 PM
Do you need an ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT?As Realtors®, buyers & sellers in today's real estate market we sometimes need an ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT! (I’m not talking about the huge number of people who truly had a rainy day, job loss, major medical or other sincere hardship)
Let’s take a page from Jessica’s book, I love my job (house, etc. fill in the blank) and I can do anything! Here are the two question's sellers need to ask themselves: 1. Are you staying? 2. Are you going? Once that decision is made you can move forward, no matter what. As Realtors® we (4 comments)
Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.~ Theodore RooseveltMike, my eldest son, laid down on the couch today to read and unwind after stretching his brain in new directions at Towson University where he is studying physics (and a bunch of other stuff I don’t understand). Mater, our little rottie, now 5 months old and 50 pounds had other ideas. Have a great week! (10 comments)

It is a family friendly, pet friendly neighborhood where our children have made lifetime friendships. We have enjoyed the community spirit and we always look forward to the (0 comments)

Where is Mater? Onions in my briefcase? Carroll County, MD - 06/01/11 03:00 PM
Where is Mater? Onions in my briefcase? Promptly after a Maryland Agency class at the office I headed to my home office. Thinking in my head, I have brochures to finish, disclosures to bind and deliver, check my schedule make sure I’m not missing anything, return phone calls the list goes on as it does for most people. I don’t care if you are an agent or a retiree, you have a list of things to accomplish on paper or for those who don’t need visual aid, in their head (for the record, I require paper).During the class we were offered (7 comments)
