de: A Cleaning Tip - 12/07/11 02:02 PM
I just have to pass along a cleaning tip for all who might be getting ready for the Holidays, or ready to sell their homes! The off-white walls in my house were looking grimy and sad, but I'm not able to paint quite yet. I've tried different spray cleaners, but nothing helped much. Then last week, I tried the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. It worked wonders! Smudges--gone! Black mars--gone! Weird, unexplainable marks--gone! I am amazed and thrilled. I'd tried this product years ago with no success, but Mr. Clean has it figured out now. There were some blemishes that will be (3 comments)

de: Summer Memories Captured in Fabric - 10/31/11 12:18 PM
Just wanted to share my summer sewing ventures with you all. The "Something's Fishy" quilt is for my new grand-nephew, Nathan Robert, born Oct. 10. The beach houses quilt is from a kit which I altered to represent our town of Rehoboth Beach, DE. Look closely and you can see my doggie, Merlin, guarding the street from his post in the window.

de: When Not Making Deals, I'm Making Quilts! - 01/11/11 02:55 PM
For my Quilting Friends, here are a couple of projects I've recently completed. The Triple Irish Chain (left), is a baby quilt, made for the son (born yesterday) of another member of The Debbie Reed Team. Although you can't see them, in each white diamond, a light green sailboat is hand quilted. The Seminole Christmas quilt is a project I started in a class a few years ago, and completed for myself. As a quilter, you know that making a project for onesself doesn't happen very often! Happy New Year to all REALTORS/crafters/artists out there, and Happy Creating! (9 comments)
de: A REALTOR(r)'s DAY OFF - 09/17/10 04:49 PM
One of this REALTOR(r)'s favorite things to do on her day off is to attend a quilt show. Yesterday, I was able to do just that, with a busload of like-minded women from the Ocean Waves Quilt Guild, of which I am a member. The works of quilted art on display were phenomenal in their craftsmanship, artistry and variety! I took a number of photos to share with those of you who have maybe never attended such a show and don't know what you're missing...and for those who like to spend their days off the same way I do. Enjoy! And (3 comments)
