restaurants: Mardi Gras at The Beach! - 03/05/11 11:47 AM
Mardi Gras is in full swing in downtown Rehoboth Beach, with 12 (count 'em, 12!) fabulous restaurants offering New Orleans' style and Cajun cuisine for your enjoyment.  The festival runs through Fat Tuesday, March 8.
A Gumbo Cook-Off is also scheduled for Sunday afternoon, 2-5, also downtown.  Stroll the Avenue, sample these delicious hearty stews and vote for your favorite.  Ballots may be purchased for $5 from the Main Street office, or from participating restaurants on Sunday.  For full festivity info, log onto:

restaurants: The List - 02/23/11 10:13 AM
Summer will be here before we know it, and with it come our treasured tourists, seasonal residents, concerts at the bandstand, umbrellas in the sand and an END TO THE WINTER RESTAURANT SPECIALS!!  Hadley McGregor has revised The List, which gives you all the scoop on where to fill your tummy for less during these last months before "the season" begins.  I'm thinking half price sandwiches at Arena's, downtown Rehoboth tonight (Wednesday).  Maybe I'll see you there!

restaurants: Eating Cheap at the Beach - 11/25/08 10:29 AM
"Eating Cheap at the Beach" could be an oxymoron during the summer season, and in the winter at Rehoboth, quite a few of the restaurants close.  But among those that remain open, many offer fabulous specials that make it possible to enjoy a meal out, even during these stressful economic times.  I have listed a few of my favorite haunts below.  Click on the link to see the specials these great restaurants offer and Bon Apetit!
