I have been working from home the past few months and I really enjoy it. The coffee is always hot and my favorite brand. I can play whatever station I want to listen to with out anyone groaning. And dinner is always hot and on the table, not a last minute grab and go at the grocery store.
The downside is the phone calls all day long. I get hang up calls from nearly every organization under the sun and if they are on the line, they proceed to tell me how bad life is, and that for just a … (10 comments)

The Theler wetlands is the perfect way to enjoy a lazy Sunday afternoon. Birds dip and soar as they call to the winds. Small animals pause on the graveled path as if to consider the humans. Breezes carry through the channel of Hood Canal to retell a legend lost to time. The coy sun melts though the gray and understands that Theler is more than a moment to be found.

You can choose to just look at the picture and ignore the words. I find that it just draws me in.
I remember this night in Allyn, Washington. It was spring and the crickets were beginning to sound. The air was cool but the wind was warmer than it had been in months.The clouds were rolling in and they appeared to be lifting up the moon into place,high above the evergreen trees.
And there she sat gazing down at all of creation as had been done since the beginning of time itself.

I picked my daughter Megan up from a school dance last night. She had a great time. It was a lot of fun even thought the music was loud.(I thought kids liked loud music, it drowns out the annoying parent voices in their heads!)But she said she wanted to tell me a story about a girl that she was talking to at the dance,I braced myself for a scary story.
