This last May I had to make a tough choice. Continue marketing homes and helping buyers though the purchase process or address the real reasons homes are not selling like they should.
I went back and forth and had many sleepless nights. I thought about the implications of temporarily giving up a career I love. It finally came down to the real reason I became a Realtor.

We all know that our home values have gone down with the current economy. It is not that they are a bad investment, it is that at this moment they are not reflecting the value that we would have hoped that they would.
One way to bring the values back up, is for the demand for housing to increase. The more people that have jobs and need to relocate to an area the more stable and profitable the housing market will become in that area.

Not if he is touring the Historical Societies old school house where his mother worked as a volunteer this weekend at Oysterfest.
Barb Griffey was asked to remove her small Griffey 4 State House pin this weekend by staff at Oysterfest. She complied but not before asking about her freedom of speech being impaired by doing so. She was told that it was not just her and that workers were out in the parking lot removing any political signs they saw on cars. In a recent article in the Olympian, Kathy Haigh answered a question concerning the dire condition of the economy in Washington. The following is taken from that article.
"The editorial board was shocked, however, when we asked her about the daunting task of balancing the next state budget. Haigh said she would cross her fingers and hope for the best. Voters in the 35th District deserve better from their legislator."

Dan Griffey is the only Conservative running for position #1 in the 35th. This is our chance to spread the message that the people are the power behind the Government not the other way around. It is coming up on election time again. The multi-candidate races are narrowing down and it is time to support the candidate of choice. With all that has happened this year and the phrase "vote them all out!" being tossed around like a toy boat in a leaky toddler pool, it can be tough to know what to do.

These comments are nothing new. A lot of the elected officials, such as Kathy Haigh, who do not want to be held accountable for not representing the people, excessively raising taxes, and supporting personal pet projects, have resorted to these types of slams. They are unfounded and not true. As a Tea Party Party Patriot I can tell you that the only people I see at these rallies are Americans who have a vested interest in their nation. This picture is of Dan at his Kick off event for State House. You can see my Mom and two of our daughters seated on the right.
As I listened to my Husband speak about bringing jobs to Washington State through Free Market Principals and living within our means it got me thinking.
Dan and I wanted to give our girls the moon. He adores his children but due to budget constraints and not wanting to spoil them we had to say no sometimes.Even when we didn't want to.
