marketing: Where do I fit in the Market? - 03/24/09 10:19 PM
It seems that today everyone is talking about short sales, foreclosures and getting something for next to nothing. Many people are falling into these categories, but what if YOU don't. What do all of these seldom used terms mean to someone who just wants to sell their home, at fair market value, or buy a home with a great loan, or cash? This means that you have negotiating POWER! When you place your home on the market at fair market value you can close on it in a reasonable amount of time. Usually 30 days after you accept an offer. It means

marketing: Splashing in the Rain! - 11/24/08 01:52 AM
How many Agents or companies out there- do you think know, that the way they represent themselves, and what they share about other companies reflects on all of us. Just like splashing in a puddle the water- it will hit any one near. The reason I mention this is that in the current market (as competitive as it is) we all still need to speak well of each other, because it reflects on our industry as a whole. I was told by one of my listed clients today that when they stopped by a nearby real estate office, that the agent they spoke with had

marketing: One for me & more for you! - 10/23/08 09:46 PM
I was a little moody this afternoon when I got home, and realized that instead of canceling my propane agreement the company had just topped off my tank instead. The reason I wanted to change was due to the fact that I had been offered a much better deal by a local company, and I was just waiting until the gas was gone before switching, since it was already paid for. So I called the company up to straighten everything out. They surprised me.I encountered a whole new attitude compared to the one from my last call. Not only did they adjust my bill, but they

marketing: Are you being a good girl-No comment - 10/19/08 08:50 PM
A few years ago, I will not tell you how many, my brother and I had the pillow fight to end all pillow fights. It was a Sunday afternoon and church was over, we had just headed upstairs to our rooms to change. At the time we lived in a turn of the century home that my mother had been raised in.The upstairs was drafty and separated by a old creaky door, sometimes known to scare little girls a 3 am. Well this is where it began...but not where it will end. I admit it I hit him first. Then he grabbed the pillow, and

marketing: The otherside - 09/11/08 08:14 PM
Have you ever looked at your listings and marketing from the other side. The way you innocently saw houses, and properties before you were an Agent. How did you find your first home? What do you remember catching your attention? I have started to go on line as a consumer, and look at my marketing, and other agents from a buyers or sellers perspective. It has really opened my eyes on how I can improve. I love seller feedback, because it tells me right where their concerns are, and I can use this valuable information at my next listing presentation.
