washington: Wordless Wednesday in Allyn - 09/29/11 12:15 AM
The Northwest is full of treasures. From the dew drops sliding off the limb of an ancient cedar tree to the morning mist revealing a lake born to reflect Rainier.
The newborn deer stumble up from the soft earth to breath in a new day. The  blossoms emerging from their nights slumber beckon them to breakfast.
Time changes everything as it drifts from season to season and century to century calling all to try again.
Life is full of moments that are made for each one of us. If we pause long enough we may be able to catch one and enjoy its … (2 comments)

washington: Silent Says it All... - 03/29/09 04:46 PM
I was on my way home to Allyn, Washington this morning when I saw this little church in the clearing.
The mountains that encircled the quaint chapel were freshly dusted in snow. The little brook that ran thought the grounds was clear and swift.
It has been one of my favorite places to think for many years now. It is though time stops here and no matter how many years come and go it is always just as it has always been...

washington: It's raining , It's snowing, I'm Blogging - 12/21/08 02:59 PM
It has been snowing now for days, and I love it. In fact I am planning another walk outside in the white stuff, followed by lots of sledding with the kids.
It has left me with a lot of quiet time to post on my blog. So what do I blog about?-Everything! I have found a lot of cool sites on line, great new marketing tools ,and new groups on join Active Rain. I have also read some very entertaining blogs.
So what do you do when all is quiet and not a creature is stirring... maybe just your mouse?

washington: A North Mason Christmas - 12/07/08 01:28 PM
Last December 3rd we experienced the storm of the century in North Mason County. Roads were wiped out, bulkheads, broke under the pressure, fields were flooded, and many people lost a lot. Celebrate life in Belfair, took down all the needs of the families that were effected. They also made a list of those who had needs for Christmas. Windermere Peninsula Properties not only helped but they took the Christmas list and took care of every request. Every family that had a need had it covered. I am so proud to be affiliated with a company that will open its doors … (1 comments)

washington: Mystery Rock - 12/05/08 03:31 PM
Did you know that in Allyn, Washington along the North Bay, of Case Inlet we have a mystery rock? It was discovered many years ago and appears to have ancient Indian writing on it. I was told that someone had tried to excavate it a long time ago, but after digging hundreds of feet down was not able to locate the bottom. Many of the locals that have been here for years know of this rock, but I am not sure how many of the new comers do. Allyn has a lot of large rocks just sitting around, and not really attached … (2 comments)

This was my moon tonight. I love the colors and the fact that it is not just for me, but for all of us. When I am far from home, I look up and see my moon, and know that it also belongs to those I love. There is something mystical about it...
