real estate: Happy Valentine's Day - 02/15/10 12:35 AM
It has been a great weekend.  Bentley and Hoover are now part of our family (I have always wanted to own a Bentley).  Our granddaughter, Kendra stayed with us on Saturday night so her parents could celebrate Valentine's Day Dinner together alone?.  Then this morning breakfast in Colfax (VFW does pancakes, eggs, ham and sausage every 2nd Sunday of the month).  Then spent the day with Dana building a fence.  GREAT Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

My Goals for 2010.  My personal goals for 2010:  (1) take a vacation / cruise with Dana for our 40th Anniversary (June 20); (2) lose another 20 lbs.; (3) walk at least 500 miles; (4) spend at least 30 days at Lake Almanor with friends and family; (5 keep a journal daily.  My Professional Goals:  1) 12 listings and 12 sales; (2) hire at least 1 buyers agent; (3) make Master's Club; (4) recruit 2 quality agents; (5) sit 45 open houses and get at least 1 lead from each open house; (6) ask at least 15 people each week if they had to buy … (0 comments)

The day started out by having breakfast with friends followed by celebrating our son-in-laws birthday and then sitting an open house for a couple of hours.  After that I showed two homes to clients.  Tomorrow looks to be even better.  Have a great day and if I can help you just call or email.  Who do you know that has questions about a short sale or foreclosure.  I can help with that also.

This real estate business is a great business isn't it.  On Friday I had a short sale approved (we wrote the offer in early November and now the bank wants it closed in 3 weeks).  Hurry up and wait.  Then on Saturday a call from a family, that was introduced (referral) to me by some friends.  They want to move to the Meadow Vista area.  Saturday night was the Lions Project for Canine Companions for Independence.  Our Lions Club tended bar for the evening.  We did our best to adjust the attitude of the crab eaters.  This is the last Crab Feed for … (1 comments)

Are you or do you know someone in the situation where you owe more than the home is worth?  There are many alternatives to foreclosure and ruining your credit.  My business is all about helping you.  Homes that are priced right are selling and lenders are working to help.  The process is involved and sometimes seems like it is not going to work but it can and will.  If you would like more info on short sales and how they work or have experiences that can help others let's talk.  Dave Johnson
