Dear fellow active rain members, I have a question I'm sure someone here can answer for me. I have a friend who allowed her fiancé to purchase a couple of investment properties in her name & with her credit. To make a long story short, the homes are now in foreclosure. I put one of the houses on the market to see if we could short sale it, but we've recently found out that the fiancé had the deeds switched out of her and name without her knowledge. My question is would we still be able to sell the house though

Is there a difference between a good “listing” and “just having a house on the market.” I would have to say “yes.” Having a good listing means having a home that is reasonably priced for the on-going market. If the home is priced too high (especially in this market) the chances of it selling are weakened. With all that's going on today, wall street crashing, gas prices rising (although lately they have been coming down), and all the foreclosures affecting various markets, I hear even Jack O' Lantern is taking a hit too. Due to weather conditions in certain areas, pumpkins used for craving during this festive time of year will be scarce. Luckily for my 2 youngest (Jordyn & Jaden), along with my 2 God-children (Cj & Simone) they were able to get their slim pickings at the Hillsboro Farm's Pumpkin Patch last weekend. They enjoyed hayrides, a blow-up haunted house, and some good old running

Last Sunday was family day at Shiloh Baptist Church in Plainfield, NJ. My wife was a part of the committee that put together the weekend long service that turned out to be a wonderful fun-filled family event. It was a fun game of “Family Feud” Friday evening, family prayer on Saturday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., then Family Day service on Sunday. It was a relaxed service, as we dressed alike in our yellow & blue colors, as well as inspiring as the Pastor preached about the importance of family and how important it is
