In this business of real estate transactions, there is no such thing as a sure thing? After Big Brown's disappointing last place finish at the Belmont, I'm sure there are plenty of horse-racing fans that have come to that very same conclusion. I had a client that I for certain thought was a sure thing. A lot-hold was placed, a deposit was put down, and we were off and running. My client & I stayed in constant contact with each other.
