Golden Colorado's Genesee Neighborhood Genesee, in Golden, Colorado, is a beautiful neighborhood in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains just west of Denver. Genesee is a neighborhood of custom-built mountain homes with 1,200 acres of dedicated open space. It is located just south of I-70 at over 7,500 feet above sea level.
Homes in Genesee range from around 3,000 square feet to 5,000 square feet. Genesee homes are priced between $500,000 and $2,500,000.
