The summer solstice has just passed. While this is a time to get excited about the new season's beet crop (and our brand new cabbage crop!) it is also a time when people play fast and loose with the thermostat.
To eradicate the biannual battle over the thermostat, I have installed a titanium lock-box around the thermostats in both the office and the annex. Bat Boy: The Musical is a brave comedy/horror show about a half-boy/half-bat discovered in a cave outside Hope Falls, West Virginia. The "Bat Boy" is taken in by a local family, renamed "Edgar" and taught to "fit in," be civilized and act like a "normal" boy in a backwoods town filled with prejudice and fear.

No Shoes, No Shirt, No Service !!
Our office has fallen prey to a dangerous trend and I want to put an end to it before it gets out of hand. On more than one occasion, I have noticed employees removing their shoes while they are in the office. Some violators keep their non-shoed feet under their desks, while others take things a step further and walk around the office sans footwear.
