We are all dreaming of spring, but this Sunday morning we'll all have 1 hour less to dream when the clocks spring forward to Daylight Saving Time at 2am. Losing that hour of sleep may not seem significant, but statistics have shown that the day after a time change there are more accidents on the road, so everybody be aware and cautious. and released today reveals that fully 56 percent of Ontarians mistakenly believe that the new Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) applies to the full purchase price of a resale home. In fact the HST is only levied on the various transaction fees associated with the purchase of a home that has been previously occupied (i.e. not a newly-built home).
