Many will be spending this three day weekend with family and friends at picnics, at the beach, attending parades and celebrating the start of summer in observance of Memorial Day.
Memorial Day also known as Decoration Day is officially observed on May 30 to commemorate our fallen soldiers dating back to the Civil War.
In December 2000, Congress passed the National Moment of Remembrance Act asking all Americans to pause for one minute of silence at 3:00 pm local time to remember our fallen soldiers and to promote a greater understanding of the meaning of the Memorial Day holiday.

Branford CT Condos - Market Update First Quarter 2008 - 05/18/08 03:20 PM
With the spring market upon us I thought it would be a good time to post the 2008 first quarter report on the Branford CT real estate condo market.
There are currently 125 condos listed in Branford, CT.  Of those 125, 42 are ranch style units ranging in price from $100,000 to $750,000 and 76 are townhouse units ranging in price from $148,500 to $629,500 and 7 are single detached units in active adult communites ranging in price from $535,000 to $675,000.
