You'll love this if you're a baby boomer and were one of the 76 million babies born between 1946 and the early 1960's as I was and part of a generational phenomenon.

The Shoreline Trolley Museum is a wonderfully historic place to visit in East Haven Connecticut with a collection of almost 100 vintage vehicles along with artifacts and documents from the trolley era.
You can visit the Shoreline Trolley Museum for an hour or spend the whole day.  Your ticket fare is good for an entire day on all the streetcars.
The Trolley Museum is a great place for the entire family.  There are special scheduled events thoughout the year available on the 2008 Operating Calendar.  You can schedule a group event, reserve a trolley for a special celebration or birthday party.

Short Sales - Foreclosures - REO Properties - Knowing The Status Of Your Market - 08/24/08 08:39 PM
Taking a cue from a post by Lenn Harley I decided I should research the status of my market for short sales, foreclosures and REO properties.
While Connecticut has not been hit as harshly with a declining market as there are in other parts of the country, we are starting to see more foreclosures and short sales in recent months.
Through some tweaking in my MLS search to identify properties that are short sales, I found 36 homes and 4 condos that specifically stated they were short sales out of approximately 1654 homes and condos currently listed in my primary market of Branford, East … (14 comments)

East Haven CT Real Estate Market Update - Second Quarter 2008 - 08/04/08 05:36 PM
The real estate market in East Haven CT remains strong with a total of 59 single family homes sold for the second quarter of 2008 with an average sales price of $237,781.  There were 57 single family homes sold for this same period in 2007 with an average sales price of $241,228 so we only saw a 1.43% decrease in sold prices from 2007 to 2008 for the second quarter.
